1. Provider

2. Who you buy from

Pro and Agency licences are sold by Freemius, Inc. as the merchant of record. The purchase contract, invoicing, taxes, payment methods and refunds are governed by Freemius' terms, and your contract partner there is Freemius, not us. These terms cover what you may do with the software, and the use of this website.

3. The software

AI Rank Suite is a WordPress plugin. The free edition is fully usable and does not expire. The source is licensed under the GPL v2 or later — you may run, study, modify and redistribute it on those terms.

A licence key unlocks the Pro modules and entitles you to updates and support for its term, on the agreed number of sites. That does not narrow the GPL: the licence governs what we owe you in updates and support, not what you may do with the code.

4. AI features and third-party cost

The AI features run on your own key with an AI provider of your choosing. We do not sell credits and we do not meter usage. Whatever your provider charges you for those requests is between you and them. The same applies to connected services such as Google Search Console or Analytics.

5. What the plugin does not promise

The plugin measures, scores and generates markup for search engines and AI assistants. Whether and how any engine or assistant ingests, ranks or names your content is entirely their decision. We therefore cannot and do not promise rankings, visibility in AI answers, indexing or revenue.

6. Your obligations

You use the plugin on sites you are entitled to administer, and you observe the terms of any service you connect through it — in particular Google's terms for the Indexing API, which is intended for pages carrying JobPosting or BroadcastEvent markup. You take backups before running bulk changes.

7. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For ordinary negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Liability is otherwise excluded. For the free edition our liability is as set out in the GPL.

8. Availability

This website and the licence server are provided without a guaranteed level of availability. If the licence check is unreachable, an installed plugin keeps working; it does not lose function because a server of ours is down.

9. Changes

We may change these terms going forward. The current version is on this page with its date. A purchase already made is governed by the version in force when it was made.

10. Governing law

The law of the United Arab Emirates applies. If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. For online dispute resolution see the imprint.
